Haven't signed up for the tournament and want to go? Or, you want to go and your parents aren't going? Well, I have great news. We have a couple of adults/parents that are going to the tournament and have opened their cars and hotel rooms up for an additional child or two (must share expenses). If you are interested in going and don't have a ride, please let Ruth know and we will try to help you get there.
It isn't too late - but the next to last deadline is arriving. We will be collecting the next due date submissions now until the 26th of September. If you get your paperwork in by then, you will save an additional ten dollars. If you go; you will:

• Spend time developing relationships with fellow Arrowhead Tang Soo Do students and students in the Region
• Demonstrate your awesome forms and enjoy sparing with others your age and rank•See another part of the country

Don't miss out on this opportunity! How will we prepare:
• Each of you can access the web site for a copy of the Parents/Students guide where you can find an outline of how to prepare for the tournament
• We will offer SPECIAL CLASSES - STARTING this Thursday evening, the adult class has opened up their class for Tournament preparation by ALL students going to the Tournament.
• You will receive special instruction on sparing, forms and the introduction.
• Get out your WTSDA books
• Get help from each other and critique yourselves.
• PRACTICE; PRACTICE; PRACTICE and then...practice some more -" practice perfect makes perfect perfect"...or something like that:}
• Bring your weapons (if eligible), sparing gear, and AWESOME ATTITUDES to each class for now on
Don't forget you will need:
• Your solid color belt (You are not allowed to wear your color belts with the stripe going through length ways.
• ALL sparing gear (including mouth piece and cup for males)
• Proper/Approved/Clean uniform complete with patches
Success is measured by:
• Demonstrating RESPECT
Work as hard to get ready as you can and do your very best
• Meet someone new
• and _______________________ ( 5 push ups from me for everyone (Orange and below) that identifies what is missing (hint - see the Parents/Students guide).
As you can see we will have plenty of time to make sure you are prepared for the up coming tournament. So, jump on this opportunity to explore another side of your training - COMRADERY (further development of the Tang So Do family).
Here is the tournament sign up sheet (PDF Format or Word Format) and schedule (PDF Format or Word Format) for your use as well as a copy of the divisions list (PDF or Word). I've added a new activity tracker to allow you to track any and all community service that you might do. Its important for us to be involved with the community - and its important that you record it and get the recognition you deserve! Its in the My Member Page area, right next to the physical activity tracker. Let me know if you run into any problems - but it should be solid. -
